Vehicle Detail

This is a 1979 Malibu 2 door. I bought it two years ago and have been trying to restore it until now. I have done most of the really hard work, like welding in a new rear frame (rear tires and back) and the frame was painted black, but is starting to chip in some places. I put all new polyurethane body mounts instead of the normal rubber ones. The interior was pretty much stripped out. I put fiberglass over the semi rusted floor boards, they are now completely strong. I put Dynamat over the fiberglass to reduce engine noise, and to insulate it a bit. I rebuilt an old 350 from the block up. The crankshaft was inspected before I put it in the engine, has Speed pro hypereutectic pistons, with stock rods. It has 882 Gm heads, stock valve train (rocker arms need tightening). Not sure about the cam. We just ordered an engine kit through a local shop and this one came with it, I'm pretty sure it's a stock cam. The engine was bored .30 over making it a 355. It has a Edelbrock Victor Jr. high rise intake, and a brand new Holley 600 carb. (needs to be adjusted better). K&N air cleaner, and new Jegs radiator. It also has Hooker Long tube headers (3") going through 3" flowmaster mufflers. This car is LOUD. Now for the exterior: The drivers side rear quarter panel has been replaced, the left side still needs to be replaced. Just some rust behind the rear tire. The drivers side took us around and hour to replace, so its nothing to big. It has some small dings and dents around the body, the roof is in weird condition. It was like that when I bought it, nothing is broken. It doesn't affect anything at all. I will try to get some pictures of it. The drivers side door handle keeps coming unhooked. I keep fixing it but the small bar inside the door just doesn't want to stay in place. And the passenger side door needs to be "fitted". It closes, but you have to pull hard. There is only one seat in the car besides the back seat, but I have two Jegs Poly racing seats here and ready to be put in, you will have to make the brackets, because the ones that come with it just don,t work. Nothing hard just need some extra sheet metal. I also have black carpet ready to go in as well. The speedo is not hooked up as well as everything else in the dash. I have a small gauge cluster. The car DOES run and drive just needs some fine tuning to run perfect. I have American racing wheels on it, with brand new Bf Goodrich Radial t/a tires. I would rather not sell the car, but I just can,t afford this anymore. This would be the perfect race car project or just a fun weekend car. I have over $4000 in this car so I wont sell for super cheap. Any other questions just ask and I'd be happy to answer them. Happy bidding, God bless.
