Vehicle Detail

This listing is for my 1983 Honda V-65 Magna motorcycle. This bike is in very good condition with normal, but well taken care of use for a 27 year old machine. This bike starts right up, runs good, shifts good (no 2nd gear issues),stops good, and looks good. The bike gets ridden once weekly, so mileage may change slightly. I am selling because I have too many toys (4 bikes in the garage and 2 pony cars); and I just don't get the time to enjoy this bike as much as I want. This motorcycle is a very fast, powerful, comfortable, smooth, reliable, and impressive ride. If you have done your homework you know that this was the first and most desirable year for the V65 Magna. This bike has always been garaged and covered during my 3 years of ownership. Recent services include: oil and filter change, final drive oil change, new fuel filter and hoses, new spark plugs, plug wires, and coil pack. Carbs were serviced/synced when I bought the bike. Seafoam is used regularly in the gas tank to keep the carbs clean. All gauges, lights, mechanicals, and electrics work properly. Bike starts easily, runs smoothly, no smoke or oil consumption issues. Bike comes with tool kit, owners manual, backrest, luggage rack, extra set of plug wires and coil pack, extra fuel hose that connects main tank to reserve (these are HARD to find), Vista Cruise, Clymer's manual, manual cooling fan on/off switch kit (I bought it because I was concerned about the bike overheating, but the temp gauge has NEVER went above 4 bars or into the red zone, even in the heat of summer, so I never installed it), and NOS turn signal stays. (The original ones are cracked, and in need of replacement. I just haven't had the time to do it.) All tabs are present on side panels. Paint is in very good condition, with no peeling or fading. Decals are in excellent shape. Tires are in very good condition with no dry rot. They have about 3-4,000 miles of life still in them. Clutch/Brakes are in excellent shape. Bike has been dead reliable for me, never failed to start, or work as designed. I would not hesitate to ride it anywhere. This bike is FAST, and pulls hard. It is not for an inexperienced rider. Clear title in hand. $250 non-refundable deposit required within 48 hours of auction close. Balance in cash or certified cashier's check within 7 days of auction close. Cashier's check will need to clear bank before bike is released. Serious bidders only, please. No warranty expressed or implied. Bike is sold as-is, and where-is. Bike is also advertised for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early. Bike is located just south of Atlanta, Ga. and can be picked up in person; or I can be available to assist with shipping. I can also arrange for someone to view the bike in person. Additional pictures are available upon request. Thanks for looking/bidding!
