You are bidding on a beautiful, fully loaded, factory Cranberry Red 1971 Monte Carlo that has been fully restored. It features its numbers matching drivetrain and is well documented with the original build sheet and protecto plate. A few of the factory option include: Power Windows Power Door Locks Air Conditioning Tilt Wheel Rear Defogger Floor Console Shifter This car was purchased from Village Chevrolet in La Mesa, CA on June 15th, 1971. It spend its entire life in California up until 2006 at which time it made its way to Tennessee. A frame on restoration was then performed on its rust free frame. All of the panels were cleaned up, bumpers were rechromed, the glass trim replaced, and a fresh coat of the factory cranberry red paint was applied. The engine and the transmission were renewed via new plugs, gaskets, hoses, fluids and new alternator. The front and rear axles have been given the full treatment. All of the hardware has been updated underneath from shocks, springs, upper and lower control arms, tie rod ends, along with the bushings and ball joints. Every part on the has been gone through and either refreshed or replaced. The interior has benefited from much of the same. This car is 100% complete! The car has been maintained to a very high standard. It starts,shifts and runs like new. The tires are BFG 255/60/15 and the 8” rallys are from wheel vintiques. Both are less than two months old. The AC is complete and does not lack any parts. If air is important to you then a simple charging and refrigerant is all that is required. The rear defogging hardware is not connected, but it does go with the car. It is sealed in a box. The rear window panel has not been cut for speakers, but if you would like speakers in the rear it has been wired and they can easily be added. I have included a picture of the small window chip in the front glass. It does not impare driving and has not been addressed, but i did want to note it.
