1971 Cheyenne Super10, SWB 4x4 This is an extremely mint 1971 SWB 4x4. The truck has undergone an outstanding show worthy restoration, with the odometer showing just over 7k miles since. I’ve owned this truck for 10 years and literally pampered it the entire time. I typically take it to shows, and bring out to cruise on only the best of days. It’s been a great truck, having absolutely no problems. This is a turn-key vehicle, needs nothing, and joy to drive anywhere. Although there are other nice trucks out there, an unmolested equivalent will be hard to find. Why am I selling my truck? I just believe its time to move on to something else. Key features include: - Factory Tilt steering column. - Factory AM/FM radio. - Factory Tach & Vacuum instrumentation within the dash cluster. - Factory Air Conditioning. All there but needs charged. - Factory bucket seats and center console. Bucket seats with houndstooth patterned upholstery, covered with clear plastic film found on many older vehicles of this era. Seat upholstery underneath is in perfect condition. - Cheyenne trim packaging, including saddle color interior, houndstooth upholstery, center console, interior head-liner, wood grain door panel & instrument cluster inserts, wood grain external rocker moldings/tailgate panel, polished window trim, etc. - 350 engine, TH350 transmission, NP205 transfer case. - External rear cab light. - Tinted slider rear window. - Inner/Outer Grill, front and rear bumpers all in excellent condition. - Body is super-straight and solid. A very professional job, no short cuts.. - Flawless gold metallic paint inside and out, including door jambs, fire-wall inner fenders and inside of bed. Judging on a 1-10 scale, I rate the paint as a 9.7 on a 1-10. . Rocker location the ONLY reason to downgrade paint to a 9.7. The rockers have VERY few small rock chips, nearly impossible to avoid even with the limited use. These chips will not show in pictures, and hardly show in person, I’m just being super picky. - Chassis/Frame is clean semi-gloss black, with body undercarriage having undercoat. - Very clean, never taken off pavement, never abused in anyway. Few modifications that deviate vehicle from bone stock, including: - The truck sits nice, on a very mild 2.5” Skyjacker Softride lift and shocks. , The ride is perfect, I wouldn’t change anything. I do have the factory leaf springs if a guy wants them, but would insist on shipping separate from the truck to avoid damage potentially occurring from loose parts shifting around. - Axles contain chromed differential covers. - 33x12.5 BFG all-terrains on 15x10 Mickey Thompson alloy rims. - Interior contains aftermarket wood-rimmed steering wheel. - Those who really know these trucks well will have noticed the ‘72 model year interior door panels & rear-view mirror placement. Despite being a ‘71 truck, it has a 72 cab. - Engine extras including an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, ceramic coated shorty headers, and GM HEI distributor. The truck runs strong and sounds excellent.
