1973 Mustang Convertible ALL ORIGINAL!!!!!!!!!!!! For sale is a one of a kind all original Mustang Convertible that is exactly the same way as it was back in June 1973 when it rolled off the Assembly line. This car is original from the front bumper all the way back to the rear bumper and in great condition for being unrestored. The paint is the same paint that was placed on the car 37 years ago in the Ford plant and it still shines up very nice. The engine compartment has never been touched up or re-painted and still looks amazing for being original. The car runs and drives amazing and is a turn key and go car. All options work as they should to include: 302 V8 2bbl still runs on leaded gasoline and gets over 20 mpg!!! Automatic Transmission Power Steering Power Brakes Front Disc Brakes Factory AM/FM Radio Power Factory Top including Glass Rear Window The car is original to include: Original Factory Paint Original paint in engine compartment Original "cold rolled" exhaust system has never been replaced Original Interior in very nice condition Original Convertible Top (showing its age) 68,000 original miles Does not leak any oil etc A car is only original once and this car is a very rare find. The car is original which means that it's not perfect. The car does have minor nicks scratches dents and dings here and there but nothing major at all. The best part of the car is that it has no surprises under the paint because it's original. The car has no bondo or putty in it and did I mention that the undercarriage is perfect. Yes the Floors, Shock Towers, Torque Boxes and Frame Rails are all in beautiful condition with no rot. The car was rustproofed when it was purchased in 1973 and has preserved the car very well. Their are a few very small rust spots starting on the lowers of the rear quarter panels but nothing major just small spots of flake that can be seen in the pictures. This Mustang has taken first place in the "original" class at car shows and could do it again with some detail work. I am only selling the car due to having an infant and feeling safer driving him around in a hardtop so time to sell the convertible. This is a one of a kind car and they are only original once so I never wanted to repaint the car.
