This vehicle ('96 caprice) is a show car. 5.7 L V8 LT1 350 hp corvette engine. I purchased this vehicle 3 years ago to make modifications. Since re-doing the engine and suspension, this car has been driven less than 10,000 miles. This monster engine has no problem pushing 24 inch rims and tires. Modifications include, 8-10 inch custom lift, 24 inch rims mounted, customized dual exhaust (re-routed so pipes are in front of back tires...see pics). Custom two-tone paint job. Viper security system with remote start (model 791XV). Custom steel welded frame to support added stress on frame, suspension, and large tires. Wheel well has be cut and modified to prevent rubbing. 1 inch wheel spacers for better turning radius. Red neon lights. 5% tinted windows. Air bags in rear suspension, so vehicle can be raised and lowered (if you have heavy passengers in back seats). Black vinyl seats and black carpet. This used to be a police car. The engine runs great and is in great condition. Transmission and drive shaft have been modified to support large rims and lift kit. This ride could use a new paint job, as it is chipping in some areas. The interior also needs work (ie. heat stress on dash, front door panels not yet painted black).
