Vehicle Detail
1973_me store Up for sale is a 1956 Ford Custom! 3 speed on the tree 2 door coupe. I purchased this vehicle just a couple of months ago from a local person who know longer could drive it because of his "bad feet". Note it is 3 on the tree and it shifts great with no hint of hanging up. The motor is a 272 out of a 1955 model. Engine sounds good, runs good. No knocks or noises. It has had a new 4 barrel put on it. Car shows good power and overall runs, drives, stops and steers good. The car before I purchased it has had a new gas tank and sending unit put on it. The exhaust looks recently replaced. The bumpers have been re-chromed. All body parts, chrome, trim, etc seem to be there and are driver quality. The interior has been replaced recently and the roll and pleated is sewn in which you know is good quality. No telling what the gentleman spent on this refurbished interior. The following items are items that I have replaced. Whole complete cross member is new, lower and upper ball joints, 2 outer tie rod ends, A-frame bushings X 8, all 3 flexible brake hoses, rear tail shaft housing mount, both engine mounts replaced, lower A-arm shaft bolt kit replaced, 2 front coil springs new, new shocks, new brake shoes. You buy this car, you can drive it home. The only negative issues is that the floor boasrds are soft and I don't know why they did not do a better job on the floor boards before they did the interior. The main support structure on the rails are good. The heater does work but the controlds need to be fixed. Speedometer works. Oil pressure guage works. Dash lights need to be fixed. I have not even checked what is wrong with that. This is a good looking, good driving car with all the glass good etc. But the paint job is a 20 footer and I am going to have it water sanded and buffed to make it a better looker. I am sure the body has had some filler put in it but the old car for what I am willing to take for it is a bargain! Buy it as a good driver or spend a little more money on it and make it a super nice car. If you have any questions whatsoever, please feel free to call my assistant at 828-835-0394 and she will answer your questions or put you in touch with me right away. I reserve the right to withdraw these vehicles at any time as it is for sale locally. Good luck Bidding!!
