This is an incredible BMW E38 Sport, it has a beautiful classic BMW look, with some surprises under the hood, full DINAN upgrade including High Flow Throttle Body, High Flow Cold Air Intake, and upgraded Performance Chip. ***PLEASE READ*** You must know something up front. This car does do one strange thing. After turning on the radio the audio sound cuts out after 45-90 seconds. I don’t know what is causing this, but all that needs to be done is to select an audio source, for example: from AM or FM to CD player and the sound comes back on for as long as you have the radio or car on. You can shuffle from AM/FM stereo to CD or to Navigation, in any combination and then the sound comes back and everything works like normal… Strange though… The Premium Sound system includes AM/FM Radio, 6-Disc CD changer and Navigation. These all work great except for the strange inconvenience. This system also has a fold down Cassette Player, but I haven’t had a cassette in decades so I don’t really know how or if it works. You would not guess the mileage by looking at it. The interior looks beautiful and does not show the wear you would expect from a car with over 100k miles. Mechanically this 740 is excellent. Less than 2k miles ago new ceramic brakes were installed throughout (front and rear), these pads are much more expensive than regular pads, but the great thing about them is superior braking without the brake dust!! It really is awesome, because most of the time a car needs a wash because of the brake dust developing around these sweet factory sport 18” rims. In addition to the pads, a new OEM fuel filter and OEM fuel pump were replaced, this was suggested for a car over 100k miles. A new OEM Mass Air Sensor was also replaced. The Continental tires have less than 5k miles on them. Overall this car is ready for whatever you send its way, truly an ultimate driving machine… This car can be inspected by appointment at a local SoCal Mercedes Benz and BMW specialist.
