1999 Honda Foreman TRX450 ES Low miles NICE!!!!! Vehicle Description I have owned this ATV for about 5 years but i am not using it so its up for sale. I purchased the ATV from a person who lived in a rural area and it was mostly used as a utility vehicle on his farmette. Its a 1999 and has very low miles and Hours on it. About 1300 miles and around 290 hours. The Foreman was the flagship machine for Honda when it was built. Its a big, comfortable ATV with plenty of power and traction. It is an ES which means it has the electric shifting system. There is no clutch. You simply push the up or down button on the left side of the handlebar to change gears. I added a winch to the machine as I used the ATV to plow snow for a few seasons. It has a 2 and 1/2 inch receiver on the back the previous owner added to pull a utility trailer around his property. When these were built they were full time 4 wheel drive. I added the Warn 4/2/4 kit to the ATV. This is used to disengage the front wheels when 4 wheel drive is not needed. It reduces steering effort by about 50 percent. When you need 4x4 simply push the red button and shift on the fly. Pull the handle out to disengage the front wheels. II recently purchased a set of ITP Mud and snow tires for the ATV. They have about 1 and 1/4 inch lugs on the tires that resemble tractor tires. I have never gotten the ATV stuck with these tires. They are very aggressive. Speedometer and instrument cluster has Hours, Miles and a Clock. It tracks elapsed time for you trip as well and tells you what gear you are in . The brakes stop on a dime and all of the lights and accessories work like new. The machine has the normal scratches and so forth you would expect from normal use. The battery was new last summer and the oil was changed this spring. The ATV comes with a Mossy Oak Rack Pack that works great for carrying any thing you want to bring riding with you.
