Vehicle Detail
We are wanting to sell our 1989 Bronco, Eddie Bauer Edition. We have 5 vehicles and 4 kids and not one vehicle will haul the whole family around. Here is what we have in detail: 1989 Ford Bronco, Eddie Bauer Edition EXTERIOR: New Paint- Desert Tan with Light Tan accent stripe and pin striping 6" Rough Country Suspension Lift with new radius arm bushings, dual shocks in front and single shocks in rear, rough country steering stabalizer. Lift has 3" blocks in rear with 3" add a leafs. 5 Goodyear Wrangler Mud Terrains, with kevlar puncture resistant side walls, on Alcoa look alike wheels. Tires are 33 x 12.5 x 15. Wheels are 15 x 12's. Tires have about 60 to 70% tread left and have been rotated every 5000 miles since new. Wheels are slightly pitted when looking at them up close, but as you can see, do polish up nicely. All tires are balanced and have stick on weights on inside of rims only. Motor is a 351 windsor that is all stock with the exception of a K & N air filter and an MSD Distributor and coil. It has a four core radiator and a heavy duty transmission cooler as well as a power steering cooler. Transmission is a C6 that is all stock and very strong. Shifting is firm and precise. All driveshaft ujoints have been replaced. Rear end is an 8.8 with 3.73 gears and a Ford Track Loc differencial. Front drive line is a Factory Dana 44 also with 3.73 gears and M & M manual locking hubs. I had a locker in the front and was not happy with the way it handled on the street. All hubs and bearings have been repacked this spring as well as the brake pads replaced and the rear brakes inspected and cleaned. All tie rod ends as well as drag link, have been replaced. The steering is a little loose, but I think that the box can be adjusted to get that out. It is not bad to drive on the highway. The exhaust has a glass pack muffler with a 3.5" inlet and outlet that dumps right in front of the rear axle. It sounds great and is not as loud as the tires when driving down the highway. There is a class 3 receiver hitch in the rear, complete with a 7 plug and 4 plug connection to fit whatever you need to pull. And yes it will pull. We have towed a 30' travel trailer before and have had no issues at all. The short wheelbase makes it very easy to back trailers up also. There is also undercoating in all fenderwells as well as on the frame and underbody. This gets done every year. I really hate rust and do my best to prevent it whenever possible. The front end has a chrome grill, new head lights, and a push bar that houses 2 auxillary driving lights that are wired to come on when the bright lights are activated. There is also the classic sunvisor that makes all Ford Broncos and Trucks look great. We even added 2 steps to help people get up in. After all is is about 8-10 inches taller that what it was when it came from the factory. It also looks much better. INTERIOR: Captian chairs, wood grain trim, and a trailer brake control. Factory Ford floor mats, as well as a center console that houses a 10 disc Sony CD changer that is controlled by a Sony Head Unit with built in CD player as well. 2 Pioneer 6" speakers in the doors and 2 Pioneer 6x9 speakers in the back. There is also a small amp that powers the speakers. It is not real loud, but it does sound good. The A/C works perfectly as does the rear window defroster. The rear window also functions with both the interior switch and the key switch in the tailgate. Behind the back seat is deck that we built. We use it to put things under that we do not want seen, or even luggage under it. It just gives you more room. It is also easily removeable for those big items that you need to haul. There is also a new headliner in the cab as well as on the shell. The headliner on the shell makes it quieter inside and also warmer in the winter. The good: We bought this Bronco in Tennessee, It was rust free then and is rust free now. It does not burn oil or run bad. We have only put 15000 miles on it in the past 5 years. It is a great vehicle and one of the best that Ford made. It is a classic that is getting hard to find in the shape that this one is in. The not so good: The paint is not perfect, but it is a 10 footer. It could use a good buffing. I am happy with it. It is not a show vehicle but a vehicle that does show very well. It is 21 years old, it does have a few flaws. There are a couple small cracks in the plastic in the interior. Nothing major. The dash has no cracks and is near perfect. The carpet is kept clean, but does show small signs of normal wear. It's a Bronco, it's not made anymore, and it will go anywhere. It runs great, looks great, and is fun to drive. It's a Ford. If you have any questions please feel free to call me @ 515-865-5970 anytime. My name is Andy and I will be happy to answer any of your questions or concerns that you may have. Payments: $500.00 deposit via paypal with balance paid in full when vehicle is picked up. If vehicle is being delivered, payment of balance will have had to clear before vehicle can be released. I have done my best to describe our Bronco, but it is 21 years old I am sure that I missed something. it is not perfect, but it is very nice. Good luck and Happy Bidding.
