Please contact me before bidding and provide your contact info, if you have less then 10 feedback. Up for auction: Cool 1972 CB750 bobber. This is a running, riding, ready to enjoy bike with a clear Indiana title. Cool bobber looks. A lot of these style bikes being built have a hardtail conversion which looks good but doesn't ride so well. This one still has the soft ride of a sprung rear swingarm. Reliable Honda 750 motor. Many neat HD parts on this bike. Tank is Harley Sportster with nice black paint, cool cap, and most importantly, it's an almost new tank and is nice clean metal inside. It's cool to throw a sporty tank on your bike but not when it's full of rust or a crappy tank lining job that constantly causes trouble by clogging your fuel system. Rear wheel is a CB750 hub with an HD 16" rim laced on. Front is a 19" Honda with a cool drilled rotor. Nice Dunlop tires at both ends, front is 90%, rear is probably 50-60% and I think it's a 130 width. Seat is off a 2007 Sportster Nightster and lines up nicely with the tank and rear fender. Fenders are bobbed Honda items with excellent chrome. Bike is both kick and electric start. The starter button has been acting up and needs attention. Starts first kick so it hasn't been an issue. Exhaust is a nice 4 into 1, there is a baffle in the muffler so the bike sounds nice without being annoying. No speedo or tach on bike and hasn't had for years. Odometer on title is exempt due to age of bike, I do not know actual miles but motor runs perfectly, no noises no smoke, no oil use, no problems. No turn signals but does have functioning tail/brake/headlight. Bike can be viewed by appointment through through Friday the 30th. I'll be out of town on Saturday and not back until Sunday evening. Please don't ask what the reserve is, just bid what the bike is worth to you. It might surprise you how low it is. It's well below what I've seen these go for that weren't half this nice, or still needed plenty of attention. There is no buy it now, I'm going to let the auction run it's full course so all interested parties can have a shot at the bike. Payment: $100 deposit through PayPal within 24 hours. Balance cash in person or USPS Postal money order or Bank cashiers check from a major bank. Bike does not leave until I have cleared payment. Repeat, cashiers check or postal money order must clear my bank before bike leaves. That means if for example you want to pick the bike up and bring payment, you'll need cash. Shipping: buyer picks bike up or arranges shipping. I do not get involved in arranging shipping. There is an option at the top of the auction to click on a button that will provide you with quotes from several shippers. I may be able to deliver the bike within a 250 mile radius of zip 47421, depending on my schedule and how quickly you need the bike. Cost is aprox. $1 loaded mile, minimum of $75. I reserve the right to cancel bids from those with excessive and/or unexplained negative/problem feedback, or those with under 10 feedback who fail to contact me before bidding.
