1976 Porsche 914. 75879 original miles. Previous owner had installed, new master cylinder, Bursch muffler, new tires, Weber 2 bl carburetor, new fuel pump, gas tank, new fuel lines. I installed rebuilt front rotors, emergency brake handle and stand, new shift rod bushings, new plugs, ignition wires, rotor and cap. There is no rot or major rusting. This is an exceptional southern car that has been well maintained. The battery tray had rusted and was replaced by a welder fabricated one( there is no rot on the control arms, shock towers, or anywhere underneath). The car is near completion. It needs a final brake bleeding(half way up currently-I performed a power bleeding but could use another bleeding. The car starts up and idles perfectly without varying rpms. The valves could use an adjustment, and the timing needs to be tweaked. The oil and filter have been changed and have less than 10 miles on it. The car has been repainted by the previous owner using original malaga red. It is not a perfect paint job but is indeed passable. The front and rear trunks as well as the floor are near mint. I am relocating to the west coast in the very near future and all of my tools and equipment have already been shipped making completion impossible.I am selling it way below it's market value and the reserve is exceptionally low so it will sell before I have to move.
