Up for bid is my 2004 Pontiac GTO with 19,698 miles presently on the odometer. I purchased the car in March 2008 with only 6,851 miles from the original owner; a woman in her 60’s who was a muscle car enthusiast in Northern California. She ordered this GTO brand new from Kastner Pontiac in Napa, California in the very Continental silver with red leather color combination. The car was never owned by a person who “hot rodded” or thrashed it, and it runs and drives like new. I have had the oil changed with Mobil 1 carrying forward the maintenance practices of the previous owner. I should add that neither myself nor the previous owner were smokers and the interior is in fantastic shape- no small children or pets were ever in this car and it was only driven in the late spring, summer and early autumn by me and was garaged otherwise. Title is 100% free and clear without liens or defects. It is NOT a salvage or rebuilt title. This GTO is currently covered by a transferable GM Protection Plan Extended Warranty to the next owner which is good until August 6th, 2011 or 56, 023 miles, whichever comes first. The reason for sale is that although my wife and I originally did enjoy cruising around in this coupe and took it on some lovely weekend jaunts to visit our local National Parks, i.e., Yellowstone, Glacier & Teton, we have realized that the car just really doesn’t fit into our lifestyle anymore- we are more Subaru people. As for additional equipment, the previous owner installed a FlowMaster exhaust which sounds real throaty. The original BF Goodrich tires were wearing out so I have replaced all 4 tires with new Hankook Ventus 245/45R17 tires last autumn that obviously have plenty of tread. The only real flaw with the car is that the front bumper now has some chipped paint unfortunately which I am told by a local body man would cost approximately $300.00 to re-spray. Winning bidder will also receive the original window sticker for the car, as well as all maintenance and service records as were given to me by the previous owner as well as kept by me. I am not a vehicle shipper but should you wish to use such a service your pick up destination is Anaconda, Montana 59711 for calculations. Alternately, I may be willing to drive the car to the winning bidder if within 500 miles of Anaconda, Montana or arrange perhaps to meet the buyer half-way. Remember, your bid to purchase is a contract to buy the vehicle, not simply kick the tires. Cashier’s Check and/or bank wire transfer for the balance of purchase price must be received within 72 hours of the auction’s close.
