Vehicle Detail
wow where do i start...um i got this car like 3 weeks ago for this girl...stupid yah. anyways no more girl and i was drivin the car last night and it started knockin go figure. luckily i was right down the road and shut her down and coasted it in the garage. pulled the oil filter. tiny brass shavings in the oil. def had a bearing failure. sucks. so know i got no girl and the car is useless to me. i just don't have the time or willingness to pull the motor and pay to have it rebuilt. my complete utter loss is ur gain i guess. the car...i found it in the woods about 20 miles out of town. me n the girl were drivin around and found it. she wanted it. talked to the old man in the house he said it didn't run so he sold it to us. this is all i know about the car from what he said, what i seen and experienced with it. its got a 440 in it 727 transmission with a reversve manual valve body in it. i dunno what kinda gears are in it but the car is quick. its got the air shocks in the back to so u can jack the car up and down with an air chuck at the gas station.. everything works inside the car except the horn. the wipers work. radio. all the lights work. even on the gear selector the lights turn street sign colors when u move the shifter. its a pretty dam cool car actually. i never seen one before. seriously. i got a laguna too and i never even heard of the dam thing. anyways the paint is pretty decent but our plan was to have it painted. the body is totally straight. the doors, hood, and trunk shut like they are brand new. like push it with one finger close. the floor pans have no rust. the only thing crappy about this car is the nasty brown carpet. was gonna change that too. from lookin at it its still got the original spare tire in the trunk. its got no air in it though. has the jack too. as far as rust goes there is a spot on the roof under the vinly. it don't look bad and the inside the car did not smell bad when we opened it up so i'm guessin it wasn't all the way threw yet. so it would need some metal work to fix that before u get it painted. oh and also near the license plate is some rust. i took pics. the pic of the fender was the worst one on the car. the front fenders are in dam good shape. i replaced the ignition relay, the plugs and had the carb rebuilt and the car cranked right up. but like i said its broke now. it still runs. i would just drive it on the trailer and not crank it up again till the motor is fixed. oh also old man gave me front disc brakes for the car. there wilwood. he said he was gonna put em on one day but he never got around to it. also i have a new battery tray and a door handle for the driver side. its broke so u gotta reach in the window now to open the door. u can have it though and change it out urself. oh and the driver seat has a small tear in it. the car also has a huge aluminum radiator in it. looks like a griffin. msd ignition. a normal belt driven fan and then also a little electric one to just in case i guess. the switch is under the dash. oh and yes i have the build sheet and a clear title. i have no idea what the numbers mean on it but i think the car used to have a 318 so the 440 is not original to the car. any questions just holler anytime 704-989-7151On Apr-27-10 at 13:45:45 PDT, seller added the following information: reserve is now $9000 gettin close
