Great Chance to get a fun classic at a low price. This Stealth will need a new longblock. The cylinder walls have fatigued through the years so that the compression and oil pressure numbers get too low when the engine is put under moderate to heavy pressure. Any acceleration past 65% of the throttle will result in sputtering due to the lack of precise compression seal. The vehicle will then also backfire on deceleration. The vehicle does run and drive, but it should not be used as a daily driver. The longblock will need to be replaced before future damage is done. Oil pressure numbers are fine at startup and under light load, but after driving for an extended duration, oil pressure will read low until you resume driving. Turbos did not leak at last inspection and transmission has never grinded in any gear. There is no radio in the vehicle, there are speakers. You will need to address the active suspension switch and the active exhaust computer as neither was important to me. A/C conversion upgrade was done. This is a project car. The interior is average at best for a 19 year old project car. Carpet is in ok condition as are the door panels and back seat. Dash vents are shot, dashboard is ok, front seats are both original and very, very worn with tears in the typical entry/exit spots. ABS light shows a consistant glow. This was my third Stealth Turbo. They are a blast to drive and very rewarding to work on yourself. Please research the amount of work that needs to be done and price parts before you bid. I have moved to Washington state and have a few project vehicles I am considering out here rather than shipping the Stealth out. The title is a duplicate SC title, I lost the original in the move. The vehicle is clear of any liens or encumbrances. Please research if this will be a problem in the state you wish you register. A friend has my signed title and will assist you with picking the vehicle up at the storage facility. * I see that Autocheck shows a front damage accident in York, SC in 2008 and I am attempting to address this with them* The stealth has never been outside of Horry County since being shipped over in 2006 and if you do some basic research on the mileage, there is no way the car made a 200+ mile drive to York. Kind of have my hands tied at this point with autocheck until customer service responds. vehicle must be picked up by April 28th. Please do not bid unless you can accomodate that.
