I am reluctantly selling my 56 Ford Pickup as I had one 30 years ago and thought I might make this one like new,but unfortunately my plans have changed.She is a Northwest truck with plenty of rust but really solid and an excellent resto candidate.When I found the truck I drove it home 150 miles so she does run and drive and plenty of power.The motor is a 302 Ford that is very strong and runs incredible.The 2 speed automatic tranny shifts smooth and as it should.I recently had my mechanic to check the carb as I had to start the truck with fluid,and he said it needs an accelerator pump.I dont plan to do it so it is sold as is.The floor shift was added once upon a time but the colunm indicator is still intact,I guess the automatic is pretty rare.The add on gauges work.The heater fan does not.The bench seat is in good shape as is the steering wheel,speedo cluster and dash.On the outside all four fenders are in great shape but as the pics show there is rust through elsewhere. The windshield is fine but both door glass is cracked.Ive been told 80.00 eachThe pictures tell the story,you can drive it home locally,and you will be buying a very desireable,affordable old classic.
