1992 Ford Explorer XLT 4X4 My gain is your gain. I recently acquired a new vehicle and need to get rid of my Explorer. I have had the Explorer for 3 great years and have done just about everything to it to make it run very well. It was my daily driver until 2 weeks ago and was always extremely reliable. In the last 2 years the following things were done: • New Radiator • New Heater Core • New Condensor • New Evaporator • New A/C Compressor • New A/C Lines • Front Wheel Bearings • Front Rotors/Brake Lines/Calipers • Rear Brake Shoes • Rear Axle Bearings • Rebuilt Rear Axle w/3.51 gears from 3.73(Which made 4 wheel drive not work now due to front gear ratio still being 3.73) • Front/Rear Shocks • Rebuilt A4LD Transmission with Soft/Hard parts (9,000 miles on rebuilt transmission) • Complete Engine tear down replacing complete gaskets/seals (9,000 miles on engine gasket replacements) • Timing Chain/Tensioner components (9,000 miles on timing chain) • New Tires• Spark Plugs/Wires • Oil change every 3,000 miles using Mobil 1 5-30 Still Left to do (what I was going to do): • Need to rebuild front axle since the seals always leaked and change gearset to match rear end ratio (now 3.51 from 3.73) • Need to swap Transfer case which I am also including with vehicle to have working 4WD engage motor • New Paint Job (minor body work) I am making this auction WITH NO RESERVE AND STARTING AT A PENNY! You are responsible for picking up/removing the vehicle from my location in Connecticut.
