This is a 1968 Firebird convertible that originally had the 6cyl overhead cam motor. It now has a nicely built 350 with the 2-speed powerglide and 10 bolt rear with 3.73's. The original 6cyl motor goes with the car. The previous owner had it since 1984 and it was painted the emerald green before he purchased it. It still shines and is a presentable as a driver car. This is not a show car and the paint is what we call a 20 footer. It is still holding up quite well but there is bubbling under the chrome strips that follow the bottom of the car on each side. The interior is the original and the top was replaced (it does have a rip above the driver). The odometer shows 59,000 miles and would assume this to be original since the previous owner put 2000 miles on it since 1984 (can't prove original but would assume it is). As soon as it was purchased the 350 was re-built and has a solid lifter cam, so this motor only has 2000 miles on it. It has been off the road since 2000 and needed a battery and fuel line. It starts and runs but just needs atank of good fuel run through it to get the cowebs out. There is rust but it is a solid foundation (hole in floorboard on front passenger side, some perforations in trunk pan, unibody decent most of the way through a little rough towards the rear bumper). The date on the pictures are wrong, put new batteries in and I did not change the default, pictures were taken yesterday. The car would make a nice driver and the power steering does work along with the top. The front tires are dry rotted and would need replacing). The vehicle is sold as is with no warranty.
