Up for bids is a 1999 Nissan Quest GLE minivan. This van has 189,296 miles on it. It has been serviced regularly at a Nissan dealership. This is my mom's van. She has had it since December of 2002. It took her all over on her shopping trips, but she has since bought a new van and this one needs to go. She has been driving both for the past year, but doesn't want to put any money into this one. The pluses: This van has leather all the way around and captain's chairs in the middle. The leather is in pretty good shape and there are no tears on either of the front seats. I don't think there is on the rears either but I didn't look that close. It also was the first year to have the dual sliding doors, which both work perfectly. It has a working factory cd player in the head unit as well as a factory cd changer in the lower dash. I don't believe we have the magazine for it any longer though. It blows cold air and the heat pumped out fine in the winter. The power windows and door locks all function properly. The van has auto headlights and all the exterior lights are in good working condition. The vehicle also has a new LR tire on it. It had to be replaced because of a bubble in the tread. This van had a tune up done at 169K which included plugs, cap, rotor and new wires. It also had a new LF axl put in at 175K. The timing belt and water pump were replaced at 125K. The PA inspection expires this month and there are a few things it will need to pass. For inspection this car is going to need new front brakes and a front motor mount. It will also need the rest of the tires replaced soon. There seems to be one or two dash bulbs behind the speedo that don't light so you can only see half the numbers. The belts are noisy at times, especially when cold or wet out. My mom also said every once in a while the steering gets tight for a second...usually when making a 3 point turn. You may want to have the pump checked out or the fluid flushed. Also, there seems to be some coolant residue on certain parts of the intake hoses which may need to be addressed. There are two spots of rust which I pictured...one on the hood and the other on the liftgate. Lastly, the back of the back seat is marked up from her putting her bike in the back. I have tried to disclose EVERYTHING I know of with this vehicle. With a little fixing up this would make a great van. It is being sold AS-IS! The winning bidder will need to arrange pick up as I will not ship this vehicle. Because of what it needs for inspection, I wouldn't recommend driving it too far before the work is done. Please ask any questions before bidding. If you can't come up with the money...by all means please don't bid! A deposit of $250 is due by Paypal within 24 hours of the end of auction.
