This is a 1982 VW Country homes camper van. This is a rust free California native. The van offered here needs some tlc. The paint and body are all original. The body does have some imperfections (dings, small dents, etc). The paint finish still shines nicely however there are scratches, nicks, ding's, paint chips, etc. The engine does start, and run, but not very well. It does not smoke, but seems to have low compression and only running on 3 cylinders it is hard for it to stay running. The engine will need to be rebuilt or replaced. The clutch seems to shift well, however we only drove it a short distance. There may be other mechanical issues that we are unaware of. The brakes are ok, and the steering and suspension seem to be fine. The interior is clean and in good overall condition. With a little bit of sweat equity this camper should be a lot of fun. This is a NO RESERVE auction and the high bidder will win it. Please note: This vehicle is being sold for parts only. If you are a California resident you will be responsible for a smog check, and completing the registration process.
