Vehicle Detail

1930 Model A pickup project that has a very solid cab, bed and frame. Frame, front and rear fenders, and bed are freshly sandblasted. The front fenders would be great for making sandwiches (swiss cheese) but they could be repaired by brazing the holes shut if you have the time and patience for that kind of thing. I've been collecting parts for this truck for 9 years. I want to finish a '29 roadster pickup so I've got to sell some projects. The cab and frame came from south eastern Idaho and are very solid. The only rust are some pinholes on the lower rear passengers side. Lower cowl is not rusted out. Good solid fuel tank and sub rails/floor pan/seat base. There's even some original red paint left on it. The cab has dings and dents, nothing major, pretty straight. The firewall is solid, but has been butchered down low as seen in the pics, can be repaired but I would probably replace it. Very nice dent free visor and panel under it. There is an all new wood kit for the cab and roof. Doors came from the Spokane Swap Meet. I searched long and hard for a nice solid bed and found a nice one at the Antique Auto Ranch here in Spokane. It has nice cross rails, sides, and tailgate. The new bed front panel is from Brookville. Sorry, no wood or strips for the bed. The front axle came from my coupe that I hotrodded. It has been rebuilt with new bearings, brakes, and kingpins. New radiator and rear brakes, backing plates, and turned drums off my coupe ( I went with '40 juice brakes). The new nose cone fender extensions, splash panels, and correct running boards are from Brookville. The engine and transmission were purchased locally and were from a '30 running coupe, the engine has been bored .60 over and appears to be in good condition, I haven't run it so I can't say if it runs good or not. The whole truck is just loosely hung together for the pics, it can be disassembled for shipping if need be. If you are a restorer, wheels are correct 17 inch truck rims. There are a ton of new and used parts (see pics) that come with the truck and I'm sure that I'm forgetting something, so ask questions and I'll get back asap. No title, I'll write up a bill of sale. Lucky winning bidder is responsible for shipping/ picking up truck in Spokane Washington. On Apr-13-10 at 20:21:37 PDT, seller added the following information: Had a few questions about shipping/delivery. I am willing to deliver the pickup within a 300 mile radius of Spokane at the rate of $1.50 per loaded mile with an extra assembly fee of $150. Bear in mind that the truck is 90% bare metal and would be prone to getting surface rust if caught out in the rain during delivery, I could spray the parts in good Dupont Kondar primer for $350 if desired, it would take me 2 weeks to get the truck ready to deliver. Thanks...Mike
