(GE6154) 2005 FORD RANGER EDGE PICKUP 2WD, S/N 1FTYR10UX5PA77961, Miles: 53,380, Engine: 3.0L V6, Trans: Automatic, License expires 4/30/10 – submitted PNO. The truck does NOT run. It has an electrical problem. The Garage mechanic was washing the undercarriage so he could work on the truck when the emergency brake cable shorted out and melted the cable. Smoke was coming out of the wires just below the battery (in the harness). The original repairs needed, before the electrical short, were as follows: Parking brake light stays on, exhaust hanger is bad, brake master cylinder is bad, wiper/turn signal switch needs replacing, the column shift is loose, u-joints need replacing, tail shaft seal is leaking, and the ball joints need replacing as well as the tie rod ends. NOTE: This truck is totally worn out without exaggeration and it does have some body damage. This unit is being sold "AS IS - WHERE IS", without any warranties, expressed or implied, including but not limited to ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A SPECIFIC PURPOSE. It was not running when it was placed in storage. This is a leased vehicle through GE Capital Fleet. SVM does not have the title, however, GE has given SVM authorization to sell this truck.
