I purchased this Speed Yellow beauty, sight unseen 12 years ago in Atlanta GA from Select Luxury Cars, with 44,173 miles then drove it back here to Mesa, AZ. Since that time it's only been driven about 650 miles a year and kept in climate controlled garage.Vehicle has NOT had the IMS (Intermediate Shaft) Bearing replaced, this is due to the fact that my car was built 12/99 and has the stronger DUAL ROW IMS BEARING. The Porsche settlement was for a very specific range of cars produced between 5/4/01 - 2/21/05; using the inferior single row bearing, that had a failure rate of 4-10%. All other IMS bearings, including mine, have a failure rate of LESS THAN 1%. I just checked and there is still 6/32 tread depth remaining on all tires (in the good range). As I mentioned in the ad, the car is in a climate controlled garage at my home, set at a constant 72 degrees. With the exception of the left rear tire (which had a unrepairable puncture in 2008) these tires were all on the car at the time I originally purchased it. I wanted to get this information out there, in the interest of full disclosure, for those who will continue to bid through the end of auction tomorrow.
