This auction is for the 88 McLaren car runs and drives it is a perfect car for restoration or parts car has some body damage as shown in the wheel well area car has little or no rust, I must mention the convertible top canvas and rear window is not present the window frame and top frame is intact and in good working condition body is in overall good condition interior needs work basically the seats need recovery and the door panels need minor repair the emblems are still intact as well as the limited production tag and production number the exterior badge is missing the car runs very well which leads me to believe there has never been an odometer roll over and the vehicle reporting agencies have been mis informed on the correct reading being extremely familiar with the small block for the motor has no valve noise or signs of a cam going flat which is quite common in these motors over a 100 k miles it also is extremely grudge free when viewed under the valve cover through the PCV And oil cap holes the oil is clear and smells of no fuel also indicating the cars rings are good although I have not run a compression check the original air cleaner assembly and possibly the MAF are missing , the car is a bit loud as it has flowmaster type exhaust and dumps before the axle reminds me of my first mustang sounds good but not original....car seems to be mechanically sound and drives quite good although the steering wheel is loose and has a lot of movement in the tilt section as if the bolts are loose The car is salvage title I am told it was stolen and recovered it does have a replacement identification number which is provided in the pictures not sure if this was done by ASC when converted or the dmv after recovery I have a clean California pink slip and registration I am including pictures of message me for more info and pictures and any questions the car is being resisted because the last buyer flaked out on me after I accepted his offer when payment became due the case was reported the winner of this auction will be responsible for transporting the car and payment can be cash upon pick up or through PayPal with in 48 hours of the close ....bid with confidence although I don’t deal much with Fox body cars this is a good base car for restoration or parts I primarily deal in gen 4 mustangs and currently have over 10 On Feb-06-19 at 05:01:05 PST, seller added the following information: I have added a few more pictures that have just become available showing the clear title new pink slip the vin number and the production number also the engine bay and the undercarriage
