I'm selling my 1965 FJ40 with a corrugated top. I bought this truck about 8 years ago to restore. It has been garage kept since. The truck is 100% complete...I have gathered every knob and button and light over the years. I replaced the wiring harness with a factory correct new replica. New rear hatch seals have been installed, the truck comes with new door weatherstrips, new side window weatherstrip, new belt moldings, new replica seat covers in the original red color, ready to be installed. Starts, stops, and drives nice. I would probably put in fresh fuel before a roadtrip. Has a later model (late 1973) F engine installed. I do have a complete period correct early F engine from a 1965 FJ40 I will sale if someone want to do a 100% restoration.Original 3 speed transmission, still "3 on the tree" column shift. The BadHas some rust in the fender wells behind the seats (shown in picture) that is not extensiveHas a replacement panel in drivers floor pan (pictured) that would need to be replaced during a restorationRear sill has been replaced but it isn't perfectThere is a small oil leak, as to be expected from a 50+ year old truck that has been sitting. The Good This is the cleanest, most complete non-restored early FJ40 I have ever seen. The frame is great, no signs of an accident, from everything I have seen I genuinely believe the truck only has 13K miles. Comes complete...all the the little nagging parts have been tracked down already. Starts and drives great. I just replaced the fuel pump and filter and points. With clean fuel, this could be a driver as is. I hate to see this one go...my intention has been to do a full restoration but I realize now that I just don't have the time or patience. This is the BEST candidate for an early FJ40 restoration that I have ever seen. Happy bidding......also listed locally on Craigslist
