Bought this motorcycle with the intention of going through a full restoration but have never put my hands on it. At the time, 4 years ago, it was a running motorcycle and since then it has been sitting in a closed garage. Except for the turning lights, apparently everything is there including the rare original mufflers. To make it a running motorcycle I believe you will have to, at least, rebuild the carburetors, put new battery and go throughout the brakes (master cylinders and calipers). The guy who sold it to me told he had changed the engine because found a lower mileage and gave the original engine to me. I will put this engine for sale in eBay very soon. These first Goldwings are picking up in price and it will surely be a good investment for whom has some skills and time to dedicate to this project.
