The custom Thruxton has tons of extras and upgrades.It wasn't a full ground up custom but it's pretty close, and what has been done has made this Thruxton an absolute blast to ride!! I bought this bike from the original owner when it was in stock condition with about 7k miles. When I first got the bike the suspension was one of the first things upgraded. The rear shocks are the 970 Piggy Backs developed by Progressive for the Thruxton line, they are fully adjustable and on par with some of the best suspension available. We also used the Progressive lowering front fork kit with HD springs and then added the Racetech gold Valve emulators. A Procom USB Programmable CDi unit was installed to get the RPM's up and to finely tune for the airbox removal and the open BC Predator exhaust. This add on made for night and day difference in power delivery. With that enhancement we went up 1 tooth on the rear sprocket to get better acceleration and responsiveness on the low end. Then eventually switched the tires to Continentals Classic Attack 2. These Conti's are like glue and with the suspension setup and the throttle response from the CDi the bike is extremely responsive and on rails! It doesn't feel at all like a stock Thruxton, it feels like a track bike! The battery is new, the oil was just changed, fluids were topped off, chain was cleaned and re-waxed and anything that was less than perfect from sitting has been addressed. The bike is super clean with only a few minor chips and blemishes here and there, although the seat hump does have a good nick in it from my boot getting thrown over one day ( I've added a picture showing this). I do have the original 2 UP seat and factory cowl as well, (the cowl is not painted to match the tank, it is original paint).The bike really is near perfect and only needs fuel and someone to ride her!
