CA DMV has cleared this to be sold as a lien sale - so it has a clear title. Complete except missing an engine and driver's side door window. I believe this is a fantastic vehicle and the perfect restoration canvas if you like Blazers of this vintage. Why? You're not going to be battling all of the cancer these things normally have. If you don't know anything about these M1009s, they have the heavy front and rear ends. The original wheels (on this vehicle) are 10 x 15s. They are hard to find. If you're looking to put in a diesel, if you go over to Steel Soldiers dot com, you'll find plenty of 6.5s (which I would put in - instead of the original 6.2. If you are from California, you should know that you can put in a 350 and not have to pass emissions as the vehicle is set up with the DMV as Diesel. All of the military equipment that came from the factory is there. The only challenges from what I see is the rust hole above the passenger side door pillar and some rust at the bottom of the lift gate. The traditional places you find rust (behind and above the wheels) appear to be very dry. There is surface rust in places. The lift gate window cranks - unlike others of this age. I cannot speak to the paint. I don't know if it is original military paint or a repaint. It appears original. Overall, if I didn't have other resto projects, I would be doing this one. Unfortunately, my boss won't let me keep it until I have time! Buyers can arrange to see it by PM'ing me. Once purchased, this vehicle must be picked up in a week or I will cancel the sale and keep your deposit. If there are bidders just under the reserve, I will drop the reserve. NO RETURNS. I need this gone gone gone!
