2016 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT – Grey with black cloth interior. 48,000 miles Clean Title VMI Northstar E Conversion. This is the non-motorized, non-kneeling companion van conversion. It is set up for someone who has a caretaker. No motorized parts to break, malfunction or be serviced. Please see the description from VMI below. The Dodge Grand Caravan has powered rear doors and a powered liftgate. All Northstar E conversions have the power door on the ramp side debilitated, so it must be closed manually, preventing problems with the ramp. Van purchased as a USED/NEW from Performance Mobility in Portland, OR. in Nov. 2017. At the time the vehicle had 39,000 miles and the conversion was new (So the vehicle was driven without a conversion for one year and then purchased by VMI Northstar to put the conversion on.) We had the EZ-Lock lock installed at the time of purchase by Performance Mobility. The EZ lock allows you to drive the chair right into the locking mechanism, eliminating the time consuming and yoga-like process of putting on the tie-downs. EZ Lock with installation is about a $2000 value. The van also incudes the standard VMI tie-downs and the upgraded Auto tensioning ties downs ($600 Value). These allow you to put the chair anywhere in the vehicle if you choose not to use the EZ-Lock. The removeable passenger seat fits over the EZ-Lock mechanism for when you would like to carry a non-wheelchair passenger there. The van comes with an EZ mount bracket for a Quantum Edge 2.0 chair (The like-new chair is also available for sale, please contact me). Other chairs will need their own bracket and fitting that can be purchased and performed at any mobility van dealer. We have had this van for one year and put 9,000 miles on it. It had one oil/filter change about 6 months ago and then just now had oil/filter changed again at Willsonville Dodge/Jeep/Ram/Chrysler and I purchased a pre-sale inspection. It got two thumbs up, absolutely no problems. I have the report available. I have a set of winter tires as well for the vehicle which are negotiable, but currently off the vehicle. They are Les Schwabb. My father passed from complications to MSA , we no longer have a need for a wheelchair van.
