This was my daily driver for a number of years, but became unsuitable for that chore here in the Deep South after the air conditioning quit working. A younger family drove it for the last five years and the list of bad below accumulated. The Good: As you can see from the pictures, the car and hardtop still look good after all these years. BMW knows how to paint. Hardtop is in very good shape, all glass is good, spare intact, and lights work. Good wheels and tires, including full size spare and wheel. The engine seems to be running ok, considering that it needs a tuneup, but I have zero mechanical ability so I'm just going on the feel of it. Never wrecked and clear title in hand, except a nice older lady backed into the drivers side door years ago and I just kept the money rather than get it fixed. I have included it in the pictures The Bad: Pretty much refer to Dan Akroyd's speech in "Ghostbusters" after he buys an old Ambulance and you will get the idea. Drivers side door will not open, seems to need shocks, something is draining the battery so when I take car to work and back to run it periodically, I have to disconnect the negative battery terminal and jump it off. Also needs new interior and radio. (The radio comes on but volume control does not work, speakers still sound good.) Windows do not work and the convertible top was removed years ago when it quit working. Also needs a drivers side mirror cover and new interior. Still a fun car to drive when I drive it to work (only 6 miles round trip), even with all that it needs. Still has original BMW driver's portfolio complete with cassette.
