The car spent time in Florida and Georgia before it was acquired from its long-term second owner out of Alabama four years ago. Power is supplied by a 3.2-liter S52 inline-six paired with a 5-speed manual, and modifications include BC Racing coilovers, a Racing Dynamics strut bar, Borla muffler, cold air intake, and aftermarket front suspension bushings. The front sport seats were reupholstered during a recent service, which also included the installation of new tires, brake rotors and pads, a new shifter and bushings, and a fresh valve cover gasket. This E36 M3 is now being offered for sale in Tennessee with service records dating from new, two keys, a clean Carfax report, and a clear Alabama title. The car was special-ordered in Orient Blue Metallic, and the provided Carfax report lists no accident or other damage. A replacement black soft top was installed under previous ownership and is pictured in the gallery along with closeup photos of the lenses and trim. Factory 17” alloys are wrapped in new Barum Bravuris tires, and each corner is shown below. New rotors and pads were recently installed. Sport seats are power-adjustable and were recently reupholstered in the correct Dove Grey leather. Equipment includes Harman-Kardon premium sound, a 6-disc CD changer, and automatic climate control. A new shifter and bushings were recently fitted. The A/C blows cold according to the seller, who also notes some separation of the vinyl on the map pockets. Under 97k miles are indicated on the digital odometer. The 3.2L S52 inline-six is equipped with a cold air intake and Borla muffler and produced 240 horsepower and 240 lb-ft of torque in stock specifications when new. The 5-speed manual transmission was reportedly replaced under warranty about 40k miles ago, and receipts also indicate a clutch replacement approximately 50k miles ago. More recently, a new valve cover gasket and fresh oil were added. Suspension modifications include BC Racing coilovers, Stage 2 front suspension bushings, and a Racing Dynamics upper strut bar.
