Up for sale today is a 1995 Mercedes Benz SL500 that is straight out of 'Another Stakeout' the movie. About 8 years ago we had the car re-painted and since then it has gained a couple of marks on it that will need to be touched up or re-painted. The car runs, but will need some maintenance and tune up work to make it road worthy. It has a soft top convertible that is powered and folds automatically into the trunk, and it does come with a hard top and a carrier/holder for the hard top. It is currently setup to be a convertible, but I plan on trying to put the hard top on it for this winter. It will take a little work to get the convertible top to fully connect as it should, it does go up and down once the fail code have been reset. It also has been on a trickle charge since it was parked in my warehouse a few years back, anytime I have drove it, I have put it back on the trickle charger so that the battery stays in good condition. I had it detailed and waxed and then we put a cover over the car, but have not waxed the hard top as of yet, but can get it done as well if the customer wants it. I am asking $4,500 but the price is negotiable for serious buyers. Please do not send me low ball offers, I will ignore them. Missing Power Antenna (previous owner with through a car wash and didn't think about it). The antenna motor is still in place so it may be an easy fix with a new antenna, I never tried to fix it. The engine wiring harness has not been replaced, it was on my list of things to do this summer but did not get it accomplished. This Mercedes Benz is used and is considered a project car to get it back to tip-top shape and I am a personal owner, not a dealer or affiliated with any dealers. All fees and registrations will be taken care of by the purchaser, I have the original title on hand at purchase.
