Stunning 1968 True SS Camaro, turns heads everywhere she goes. This investment grade Camaro had a complete no expense spared rotisserie restoration completed in 2010 ,it was garaged for 30 years before and has been ever since. The Camaro is completely Numbers Matching including original 350 Motor, M21 Muncie Transmission, and original 12 bolt rear end. All body panels , floor trunk ect. believed to be all original and in excellent condition .Purchased new in Fort Meyers ,FL in '68 , the car was Driven only 25 miles from restoration time till i purchased her in 2014. The body panels all straight , and rust free.The car sports original style Camaro rally sport wheels with 14" BF Goodrich tires with raised white lettering.The interior was completely restored no expense spared all to original color combo Parchment/Black / Bucket seats 1968 (Trim code 730) .Also full console with walnut trim and full instrument panel.Radio is original AM style, upgraded to include digital input option. Dash , gauges , and instruments all working perfectly. Walnut steering wheel supposedly original to car. The car was beautifully repainted with its original Maroon color . This 1968 Super Sport Runs and drives Great . The engine, tranny, and drive train are original to the car, and all numbers documented .Other engine components are original or original replacements. .The L48 -350/295hp had the correct "Competition Cam" added during resto, and runs very strong. The original Muncie 4sp shifts smooth and operates perfectly , it is also stamped with correct partial vin.( see below). rear end is original 12 bolt 3.31 ratio .Not only is she beautiful , she's Fast ! . The car has its original A/C with Newer replacement compressor and rebuilt POA valve to accommodate R134. AC Idle Solenoid , and additional electric fan( in front of radiator) keeps everything running well when AC used ( blows frosty Cold).Power steering. and original A.I.R Pump (smog pump).A new Edelbrock 4 barrel carb was put on the car during the resto , and while the original Rochester Quadrajet was being rebuilt . The car ran so well with it , the original Rochester was never put back on. I have it , and it will be included in sale , Please check out the photos , I have more upon request , check engine compartment , interior , undercarriage all restored with extreme detail to originality .The car and components are completely documented with all casting #s and build date codes,Truly one of the nicest original 68 SS's out there, and priced to sell !.
