1978 BMW R100/7. This motorcycle has been rebuilt from the ground up. The engine has been stripped down and rebuilt. Pistons have been balanced and re-ringed. Gearbox opened, visually inspected and flushed clean. No leaks. Both carbs rebuilt with new gaskets, diaphragms and jets. Carb springs added on pistons. The engine starts and runs but the carbs need to be adjusted and balanced. Final drive has been opened up. visually inspected and flushed clean. No leaks. The bike has been built as a dual sport. The front forks are 1990 Suzuki DR650 and the front wheel is a 21" 1989 Suzuki RM250 with disk brake. Rear shocks are 1984 Honda CB700 which raises the rear to match the front. Center stand has been lengthened to accommodate the new ride height. A CAD designed custom triple tree has been CNC machined from aircraft aluminum. Mechanical tachometer and speedometer cables have been removed and plugged allowing Acewell 2853 gauge to monitor engine and bike speeds. Completely rewired with LED tail/stop light and indicators. New battery.
