I have owned three XJ6 , each one better. I purchased this car a couple of years ago locally and since have had a fishing accident and am limited to how much I can do anymore. I'm 88 years old and don't drive enough to keep the battery up on both of my cars, and I don't need the expense of insurance, inspection and registration each year. so I must choose between the Jaguar and the Buick Reatta. While I like the Jaguar better, anyone can repair a Buick, but the Jaguar is a different question. No maintenance records, Paint is very nice except for fading clearcoat at top of right rear quarter panel next to trunk lid and back door. Trunk lid was the same but I had it painted. Car is the original paint, metallic green, Not British racing green. It just looks like it except prettier. Engine runs perfect, as does the transmission. Does not burn oil between changes. One set of keys and remote, One master key and one valet key. One complete set of books, New heavy duty battery. Windshield washer tank leaks and you must remove the front bumper to access it, Steering wheel automatic extender cable is broken, I have a new one but can't install it due to my physical limits, I would or will drive it anywhere on a moments notice. No cracks in wood or seats. Look closely at listed pictures. Tires are good but not new. No problems at all that I can think of. I have had three XJ6 and I know the problems they have, This one has none. Timing chain has not been changed but the tensioner has. It has a new still in the box car cover. Check out the history report and see it is far above the top rating.This car catches your eyes, and many comments. Drives so nice, and makes you feel like you are somebody.
