(TRUCK HAS NOT BEEN CRANKED IN YEARS BUT WILL RUN – BAD REAR END WAS THE REASON IT WAS PARKED-) Truck has been sitting up for years not being used, will require fresh batteries, possibly fresh fuel, will run but has a bad rear end, the rear end locked up so they parked it, since being parked someone took the tire, rim and hub (we do not have). This pickup was owned by several different companies since new and what it was originally sold or used for we don’t know, we do know that it was purchased new by an oil/gas company and used as a general service/utility truck on job sites since then! At the time while in use the truck was serviced and taken care of properly, after using in the company for several years the small gas/oil company was bought out by a large corporation in 2013. After the company was bought out the rear end locked up and the new corporation decided to not spend the money repairing a 6-7 year old truck, parked it and has now sat idle for about 3 years not being moved, cranked or anything, we do believe that it will still fire up but will require some new batteries and possibly some fresh fuel, worse case would be a fuel pump, once running you will have to replace or repair the rear end and buy a new hub, rim and tire! We were told the unit was running and operating fine when the rear end locked up, everything was working properly and they claimed it was a good truck, it was parked only because of the rear end issue, this unit without a doubt could be brought back to life, all of the tires are holding air and have been, not sure how long they will hold up hitting the highway once you get it going but again don’t see why a little money and patience someone can’t put the old utility body truck back into service. We are selling it from the exact location in which it has been sitting idle for some time, would like to have it moved in 30-60 days after you win the auction but can work with you if a longer time frame is needed, it has a clean, clear title and is being sold with that and a bill of sale, we are not at the location and will not be able to assist you much regarding loading, etc., you can show up and work on it, get it going on site anytime, if you don’t plan to drive off then the best bet would be a roll back which could just suck it up on body from the rear! We also have an auto-check history report that shows the unit purchased and titled new in LA, then re-titled to the new corporation in LA where it is located now, no salvage-flood-fire history! We purchased the truck directly from the large corporation along with several other items, not from a dealer or broker, simply turning this one into cash, considered towing it back and getting it back in operation but simply don’t have the time.
