Smooth and strong running truck with tight shifting transmission. No smoke and no leaks. I installed a Magna Flow muffler which is a lot lighter than factory and not much louder. Highway miles used as escort vehicle for oversize loads mostly in Florida and to Texas and Michigan. Vehicle was purchased with the Rebuilt Title status though unsure why to be certain, other than tailgate and rear bumper are not original. However I drove it 100,000 miles in a little over a year with no issues other than AC fan never worked on speed 3. Speeds 1, 2, and 4 work fine. Cold AC, tires and brakes good, radio speakers must be great as I never listen to radio.....I'm a 10-4 CB man. Drives straight and stops great without pulling left or right. Well maintained and road ready for California. Escorting trucks sandblast the windshield which for safety and general maintenance is new again. Windshields last me about a year before becoming so pitted the wipers barely work. I change oil and filter every 3500 miles and trans filter every 30,000 miles. Current fresh oil (Pennzoil 5w30), new filter and new battery. Serpentine belt was replaced at around 125,000 miles as general maintenance. Truck does have a reese style hitch (frame mount) with which I occasionally pull a 300 pound trailer. Truck has never been abused in my care. My primary vehicle is standard shift and sits higher which I prefer in my line of work. Both of my trucks are highly dependable but only one is needed. Non refundable deposit required.
