The truck features its original 302 V8, C4 automatic transmission and transfer case, all of which were rebuilt within the last 1500 miles. Modifications include Vintage A/C, high performance intake and exhaust systems, fender flares all around, and power disc brakes. The truck rides on 15″ x 10″ chrome steel wheels with Bridgestone Dueler A/T tires. The removable hardtop features tinted windows and chrome step bars have been added beneath the rockers. The factory metal dash has a consistent vintage look with a twin-knob stereo featuring modern tech inside and three A/C control knobs designed to match the factory Ford knobs. A/C vents are located beneath the dash panel. The interior also features new carpet,new door panels, new upholstery w/Explorer package, an inside-mount spare tire, and new stainless steel framed vent windows. All new weather stripping was replaced when the paint was done. The front axle is a factory Dana 44 unit with disc brakes and Warn locking hubs. Shocks and steering stabilizer are new from James Duff. The rear axle is a Ford 9″ with 3.50 gears and a new factory fuel tank and trailer hitch were also installed. The complete set of brake lines are also new. Many detail photos are included in the gallery which depict the care that was given during the disassembly and reassembly following the paint work. New chrome bezels have been added on all lights, and new chrome moldings were also added. The engine bay is very clean and modifications to the 302 V8 include electronic ignition, Edelbrock 600 carburetor, an Edelbrock Performer dual plane aluminum intake manifold. The dual exhaust system is new from the headers back and features MagnaFlow stainless mufflers. The radiator is also new, and the factory jack is visible on the driver fender.
