Please Read Entire Listing Before BiddingI include a detailed description and numerous photos for review 1957 BMW R60 This is a very complete and mostly original 1957 BMW R60. The bike was last registered and ridden in 1971. It was painted very blue in the 1960's. It was originally a black bike. The previous owner had recent plans to restore the bike and began some disassembly. Subsequently, some bits are loosely assembled - Primarily the engine top-end. The cylinders, heads, and valve covers were removed and are loosely assembled, as are the handlebars and the rear fender. Missing bits include mufflers and foot pegs. Other than the blue paint and tall Flanders handlebars and period (modified) Flanders kickstand, the bike seems very original. The original dip-switch is intact, but has been relocated to the lower left frame down-tube. Tool box key is missing and lock is intact. I have not drilled the lock or opened the toolbox. The bike has a TN title in my name. Please inspect all photos and feel free to ask any questions. Local inspection is welcome.
