1984 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce This Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce was bought new in 1984 at the Chrysler Alfadealership in San Jose, California and remained in San Jose all its life under the same lady’s ownership and inludes the same, classic, Californiablue license plate and has for 34 years. There is absolutely no rust anywhere on the car which I believe is the most important advantage on a classic car. Even though the car was regularly maintained including the top of the engine, it’s still all original and by looking at different sections of the car you can tell it’s intact and unabused. Paint is shiny and original (not even partially repainted) there are typical dings and imperfections on the exterior but nothing major. Unique, classic sports cars are not usually used on a daily driving basis and they have less mileage than other vehicles, however a common problem on some Alfas is the odometer stops recording. This problem has never happened with this Spider and the odometer is still operating well. Carpets and interior look like new and there are no cracks on the dash. Top is canvas fabric and new, in addition power windows are functioning well. Original rims and tires have been upgraded to the original, very well known Panasport wheels which costs around $2000, partially influencing the pricing on the car. I would rather not over explain the car due to strange sets of standards some people have, however in general and overall the car looks great and is in great shape. The local Alfa Romeo mechanic compliments the engine and says it runs like a clock. Please be noted that I tried to the best of my ability and to the best of my knowledge to describe the car properly, however please see all photos and ask any and all questions you may have before engaging in the bidding process.
