You are bidding on a very, very original 1976 XL250. This is a rare one year only bike. As far as I can tell everything except for the hand grips are original. Bike starts on one to three kicks, runs as it should. Everything on the bike works as it should, speedo, tach, horn, turn signals, brake lights. Rims are correct and straight and true. Front and rear brakes work great. Comes with original tool kit, a couple of tune up parts, copy of original shop manual. No cracks on fenders. Chrome in excellent shape.I do not think you could find another bike in this original condition. There are some scratches, one of the side covers is missing a corner tab, the tank has a dent, the baffle from the muffler has been removed. Why, I don't know.
