This listing is for my 1972 GMC Jimmy. The attached photos are the same ones that the original dealer took when I purchased the vehicle three years ago. Since the photos, I added a stereo system with speakers in the front doors, replaced the windshield wipers, and passed the Texas Safety Inspection. The vehicle is located in Dallas, Texas and is a fully drivable suv. Upon purchase it can be driven away by the buyer if they choose to. It starts every time, runs well, & looks good in person. The rockers appear to be rust free and in good condition, but there are some other areas of surface rust. It comes with a hard top and a tan canvas soft top. I enjoyed owning this vehicle, but the time has come for a new owner. As such, I have placed a very reasonable reserve price and fully expect to sell this truck in the next week. A few other comments about the vehicle: -Several of the dash gauges do not function. This includes the gas gauge, tachometer, & engine temperature. The speedometer does function and is accurate to my knowledge. -There is a small transmission leak at the front differential. -The interior liner for the glove box is missing -The air conditioning does not currently function -Odometer reads 11498 miles, but I can not confirm the reliability of this mileage -Paint has some chips on the body and a couple of cracks inside the engine bay where the hood touches Given the increased interest in these vehicles, this is a great truck for someone that wants to enjoy a classic, convertible suv without needing a second mortgage to get in the driver's seat.
