Up for auction is a 2011 Triumph Tiger 800 in very good condition. I bought it from a guy in FL who was parking it under the lanai of his condo until the HOA told him he could no longer do that. Being at a loss, he put it up for sale. It had 12,000 miles on the ODO. I rode it home to Henderson, NV. It's been to Mexico. It's been to Seattle. It's been camping in the desert. It is a great bike, no issues. I'm only selling because I got a good deal on a 2016 model with upgraded electronics. The 2011 with the GPR silencer (Italian) is quicker than the 2016 with the stock can. The bike has had regular, timely oil changes, the last change at 25, 105. I changed the spark plugs, air filter and coolant at 21,437 (last year). This bike is the non-ABS model and the brakes work as they should. The bike starts instantly every time and runs perfectly. I have not yet checked the valves, but they should be checked at this mileage. Accordingly, I am deducting the cost of the 24K service from the reserve price. Take a close look at the photos as they are representative of the bike for sale. There are a couple of nicks here and scratches there commensurate with a machine that has been used as the manufacturer intended. It's an Adventure Bike! The mars on the passenger foot peg stays (see photos) are from a Happy Trails luggage rack (not included). They are cosmetic only. The seat is an upgrade over the stock seat for this year, much more comfortable. The GPR silencer is lightweight and not that loud though the decibel level climbs with the rpms, as one expects. (It's quiet in the driveway so you won't offend your neighbors). The stock can is included in the sale. I am leaving the Kaoko throttle lock installed as the 2016 has cruise control. It's a must-have accessory. There is a Kuryakyn helmet lock on the frame, very useful. The key for it is on the key ring. Finally, the bike has an emissions canister already in place. Whether this system will meet California requirements is unknown. Note: The bike is missing a screw for the right-side radiator cowling (see photo). I ordered a replacement and will mail it to the buyer when I receive it at no cost. Please, if you bid on this motorcycle make sure you can pay for it. I require a deposit of $500 via PayPal within 24 hours of the close of the auction, not 48 hours. The 24-hour time window is plenty for the serious bidder. I will not ship the bike, myself, or query shippers on the buyer's behalf, but I will make myself available to the shipping company's driver if the buyer gives me a date and time. I will not help with loading the bike due to potential liability issues. Check my feedback and bid with confidence. This is a machine worth owning.
