Vehicle Detail
Original listing sold for $6,100 - top bidder says his dad must’ve bid, not him. Next bidder - his wife contacts me and says he has dementia. Seriously? I’m just trying to pass a great van onto someone that needs it. This is my one last try before I donate it for a tax write off. I’d hate to do that It. Is. A. Great. Van. FABULOUS!!! Wheelchair Van!! TOP OF THE LINE - LOADED TOWN & COUNTRY SUPER LOW MILES - less than 65,000 miles on a 2004!! This is the top of the line Town & Country Limited with all the options. V-6 rated at 16/23 mpg which is about right. I drive highway and around town and average 18-19 mpg which is great for a wheelchair accessible van with a lowered and reinforced floor. It has an in-dash multi CD and DVD changer with DVD player located for backseat passengers. Infinity speakers everywhere. Leather with Suede trim upholstery. Cruise control, heated drivers seat, 3 climate control zones which I love! I like my side of the van much cooler than my passengers usually enjoy. Key fob with one touch to make the van kneel, side door opens and ramp folds out. Current Average price = $20,475!!!! But you know this if you've been looking for a wheelchair accessible van. So, why is my vehicle so inexpensive? The wiring harness on the passenger side sliding door, the one with the wheelchair ramp, got mangled in the door somehow. A replacement wiring harness is $70.95 on Amazon. You can still open the door and fold out the ramp. But for $70 you can do it with the push of a button. It also needs some engine work - Mechanic gave me a quote of $2,000 for complete repair. (Most dependable vehicle I’ve ever had, threw a rod) Van has great tires, and was just smogged (not a single problem. Yay!) and registered until July 2019. The van is 14 years old and the outside has a few blemishes and oops but nothing drastic. Van is drive-able but I would not take her very far - tow her or arrange shipping. This van desperately needs a carpet cleaning but I am not willing to drive it anywhere, so sorry about the dirty carpet.
