*Read all* Selling my 1999 mercedes Benz E55 AMG. Automatic transmission. Clean California title. Runs and drives good. Clean black leather interior. Cold ac. V8 5.5l motor. Transmission shifts great. Tires in great condition. 1 key. Keyless entry. Sunroof works. Recent full synthetic oil change *Cons*Oil cooler recently started to leak oil into the coolant system. Oil cooler is 40-70$ part on rock auto and can easily be replaced. Still runs and drives good. Doesn’t over heat. No coolant in engine oil. Has a minor exhaust leak pre cat from exhaust manifold gasket. Again not an expensive part but time consuming to change. Also causing the check engine light to be on for an 02 sensor. So just need the new gasket. Very minor. Not loud at all. I have had it checked at a shop. Rear driver side window doesn’t go down. Not sure why. Digital display on cluster is like messed up but then starts working perfect every once in a while. Again not sure why. All the other gauges work perfect at all time. Paint clear coat is coming off. It’s an old car now. Driver door has dents. Would be a lot better to buy a same color door at pick your part for 50$.registration is back about 3 months. But once fixed it’s very reliable. I drove it everyday 120 miles to work and back with no issues. I don’t drive it anymore due to the oil in coolant. I’ve driven it a bit. Drives with no issues but I obviously don’t want to drive it 3 hrs away. That’s everything I can think of that’s wrong with it. Or buy it as a parts car. But it would be worth it to fix it as it really isn’t to bad.
