This car is a clean rust free survivor car with a patina. It has the look of an old very well-preserved survivor, not a restored or show car. It is a driver with a rebuilt engine (receipt included), older but good wide whitewall tires with plenty of tread, original interior and nearly all original paint. The interior is a survivor car interior with wear but still beautiful, with the desirable black brocade cloth with intertwined color threading trimmed in leather. Door panels, dash, front seatback and headliner are excellent. The body is very clean. Paint is a 20-footer that I have left alone because it's only original once. The only evidence of repaint is on the lower right quarter. There is no sign of rust holes or repair thereof, just small spots of surface corrosion where paint is worn, the worst is the drivers doorjamb shown in one of the photos. Glass is good. Chrome is average: mostly good with the worst part the rear bumper (pictures). Three main power windows work fine, the right rear does not but it's up (the previous owner told me it's the motor). The right wing window works, the left needs a switch. The air conditioner has ben converted to 134 and blows cold when charged but has a slow leak. The radio and power antennae do not work and I have not investigated. I just play fifties music on my phone when I drive it. The power trunk release works fine, the pull-down has either been removed or was never present. Interestingly, there is a very large 80s era car cell phone in the glove box. I am not aware of its value or if it works, but it's included. It has fog lights which work. All lights work except dash turn indicators which are intermittent, and the backup lights, both of which I hope to have fixed by end of auction. Exhaust is fair.
