This is my 1978 GS550. It runs good, and is a blast to ride. The bike is not perfect, but for a 40 year old motorcycle it's pretty nice. The bike is stock except for the seat which was common during that time. If you notice in the picture the rear turn signals are different. I have the matching light but have not had time to put it on. I bought this bike for my daughter to learn to ride, which she did and rode this motorcycle for a few years. She recently purchased a new motorcycle for herself so this one sits. I do ride it from time to time but it's not my primary bike. The bike will cruise at 80 mph if you're so inclined, but it's happier at 55 and 60. A great learning bike or classic ride. This bike will always gets comments at the gas station or wherever you pull up from people who know bikes or grew up in the 70s. I hate to sell it, but I also hate for it not to get ridden. Chrome is nice, exhaust is original, at some point it will need a new chain.
