Vehicle Detail
High Bid wins this Rare Car... Pick up and/or view this car in Freeport Maine (Hampton Inn parking lot) Great Car but it's time to let someone with some who has the car fix-it-do-it-yourself skills take over this baby. Good solid engine on this, and body is in good shape. No Check Engine Light on. Inspected through next year. Burns about one quart of oil just before it needs an oil change (3,500-4,000 miles) Oil Changed religiously. Engine Rock Solid. Just drove this from Maine to Charleston Va and back, no problem. 3/6/17: Removed the Air Shock system and replace with $1500 fixed shock system. (Autowerks Freeport, Maine) 6/10/17 New center main Muffler Pipe Has Hitch for towing small trailers. Invested over 8K in this car since since 2012. (Autowerks freeport Maine - Audi Specialists) Know Issues: Radio Not Working Needs new left Brake Caliper (Caliper Warning Light is on) Back Latch only lock manually with Key. Two Keys but only one works as a remote. Back Inside Cover not set in car correctly. When you open it after a rain, some water drips out. Right Passenger Window does not always go up autmatically, but you have someone pushing it up it works ok. Plastic Cover under hood by window taped in place Missing cover for center drink holder. Back Seat was removed by mechanic and stored, so I just put it back in, but if you'll to bolt it back down if you want to be sturdy.so it's in good shape, it's just not bolted down (I had the car set up for camping) On Aug-15-18 at 05:47:03 PDT, seller added the following information: Got full service records also from Morong Falmouth. (9K spent there) See last photo. Back seat clips in, but i didn't push the clips in since you may also want it out of the car. I pulled the radio and wasn't sure if it was the unit or something else, so right now you can just pull it out with your hands. Front headlights need the "renew" treatment, glass is pretty foggy, may not pass inspection next time if you have a picky one. Front bottom plastic grill in middle fell out and I couldn't find it... just cosmetic.
