You are buying my 1979 Honda CBX. 1st year for this 1047 c.c. 6 cylinder monster., 103 h.p. as advertised. This particular CBX is a pretty low VIN number bike of 12002188. It starts, runs and rides very well. The engine performs well and the bike rides nice with all systems currently working on the bike. The engine is very smooth. I just had a certified Honda mechanic who also owns many vintage Honda's and 2 CBX's himself, go through the bike. Carbs, valves, brakes, tune up, charging system, etc.. This assures the buyer that the bike will run. The gas tank is clean inside and currently is full of fresh non-ethynol gasoline. A new battery has been installed. All of the original Honda stickers and emblems are still on the bike. The bike retains the original paint!!! Remember, they are only original once. The electric starter works great too. Bike has a nice set of Kerker exhaust which are in nice shape, no holes or dents. There is a small dent on the right side of fuel tank that is right where the tank naturally bends in so it appears worse than it is. Tires are correct originals and hold air fine but exhibit some weather checking upon close inspection. I ride the bike all the time with no issues. I hope you like my CBX. It is a nice bike. It is not restored and therefore it has typical patina found on unrestored vehicles that are 40 years old such as scratches, dings, surface rust and paint scratches here and there so please do not expect a new motorcycle.
