This motorcycle is a 1973 HONDA XL175 - the VIN is XL175-1005544 This VIN is not the required 17 digits, because in 1973, 17 digits were not required. That is also why the VIN is not listed above because eBay does not accept VIN’s less than 17 digit in the earlier part of the listing. ALSO THIS BIKE IS A 1973 not a 1975, but again eBay doesn’t bring up 1973 as an option, so I listed it with the correct age and VIN down here. This bike passed a legal inspection fall of 2017 and was garaged all winter. The carborator needs to be cleaned. Once that is done it will be ready to take you down the road at a maxx speed of 60-65 MPH. THE TIRES ARE BRAND NEW. The 2555 Miles are all original Miles. This bike does not have rear view mirrors or turn signals as mirrors and signals were not factory stock on this bike in 1973. The Honda XL175 was a motorcycle produced by Honda. The XL175 first entered the market in 1973 as a lightweight dual-sport motorcycle, and the model continued in production through 1978. The XL175 had a 173cc single cylinder OHC four-stroke enginemated to a 5-speed transmission and was started via a kickstarter only (no electric starter). The gauges included a speedometer and a tachometer up until 1976, when the tachometer was deleted for that and subsequent years. Braking was via front and rear cable operated drum brakes. The dimensions of the bike were 2,075x840x1,095mm (82x33x43in). The electrical system in all six years of the XL175 was a six volt system and included a battery, headlight with high/low beam, turn signals, brake/taillight, instrumentation lights, and a horn.
